What are the Range Rules?

ALWAYS treat every firearm as if it were loaded. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot. ALWAYS know your target and what is beyond it. ALWAYS keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

What Attire Can I Wear?

Closed-toe shoes or boots are required. Weather-appropriate clothing, durable footwear, and protective equipment are recommended.

What types of shooting can be done on property?

The club offers rifle, pistol, shotgun, archery, Steel Challenge, Night Multigun, PRS, 3 Gun, 5 Stand League, and 3D archery activities.

What are the MGAC hours of operation?

The range operates Thursday through Sunday. The clubhouse opens at 8:00 AM, shooting begins at 8:30 AM, and the final session ends at 4:00 PM.

Do I need to be a member to shoot at MGAC?

No. Membership is not required to use the facilities, though members receive additional benefits.

One gate fee covers the main firing line. Everything else is an add-on you can decide on when you check in — long range, action bays, clays, archery or a night match.

Main firing line

5 to 300 yards

Covered concrete benches, numbered lanes and paper targets. Sight in, plink or train — all included in the day fee.

600 & 1,000 yards

Qualify at 600, then stretch to steel gongs at 1,000. One of the only true long-range lines on Florida's Gulf Coast.

The MGAC difference

Indoor ranges sell you a lane and a timer. MGAC gives you 350 acres, real distance, moving-and-shooting bays and a community of shooters who show up every weekend.

Certified RSOs on the line. Cold-line calls, target changes and a second set of eyes for new shooters — at no extra charge.
Real distance. 25 yards is where most ranges stop. Here that is where the main line starts getting interesting.
Everything sold on site. Ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, and loaner cases if you forgot yours.
Families welcome. Kids 8 and up can shoot with a parent, ladies shoot free twice a month, and military and local law enforcement never pay a gate fee.
